HOPE by Dr. Kay provides medical consultations, not physical goods. Nothing is shipped. This is how a consultation you pay for on hopebydrkay.com reaches you.
Fees
A consultation at the clinic is ₹500 for 30 minutes; a video consultation is ₹500 for 30 minutes. The fee is shown again before you pay, and is paid in full when you book online, or at the clinic for appointments booked by phone. Healthcare services are exempt from GST, so there is nothing added on top.
When you book
Your booking is confirmed as soon as payment is complete. A confirmation with the date, time and type of consultation is sent to the email address you gave, usually within a few minutes. If it hasn’t arrived within an hour, check your spam folder, then write to hello@hopebydrkay.com.
At the clinic
In-clinic consultations take place at T-4/1345, Old Lakkar Mandi, opposite Singhania Hospital, Amritsar, Punjab 143001, at the time you booked, and last 30 minutes. Clinic hours are Mon–Fri, 6pm–8pm. Please arrive a few minutes early.
On video
Video consultations last 30 minutes, are available Mon–Thu, 11am–8pm; Fri, 5pm–8pm, and take place on Google Meet. The private link is included in your confirmation email. You can join from a phone or a computer with a camera, from anywhere in India. The consultation begins at the booked time, and if you join more than 15 minutes late it is treated as missed, as the refunds and cancellations policy explains.
Prescriptions and reports
Where the doctor decides a prescription is appropriate, it is given to you at the clinic, or sent to your email after a video consultation, in line with the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines, 2020. Some medicines cannot be prescribed after a video consultation. If that applies to you, the doctor will explain why and suggest an in-clinic visit.
If a consultation can’t go ahead
If the doctor has to cancel, or a fault on the practice’s side stops a video consultation, you will be told as soon as possible and offered a new slot or a full refund. Cancelling or rescheduling on your side is covered in the refunds and cancellations policy.
